Robert L. Titzer is an Executive Vice President in the Corporate Real Estate Services division of HSA Commercial Real Estate and brings a broad background of commercial real estate experience to his client’s assignments. His thorough understanding of the transaction process includes a strong background in construction, financial analysis, and lease negotiation in addition to an excellent knowledge of the national accounts service process.
Mr. Titzer’s work has earned repeat business with clients such as Waste Management Incorporated, Storage Technology Incorporated, Cyborg Systems, Interim Personnel, Fitness Formula, OKW Architects, ArsDigita Corporation, Advocate Healthcare, and the University of Chicago Hospitals. He has been instrumental in the expansion of the firm’s business in the field of national account service, handling all of the company’s transaction assignments for leading national technology and information system companies in markets across the country. He and other team members have spearheaded the development of the “Realsource Network” of service providers in other markets in the US and abroad. Most recently, he has directed transaction services growth in the health care sector.
Mr. Titzer also represented leading property owners such as JMB Properties and Prime Group Realty Trust and national companies including Waste Management and StorageTek in property leasing and asset disposition assignments in Chicago and other markets.
Prior to joining HSA, Mr. Titzer was with Prime Group Realty Services since 1988. He was also a development manager for a Chicago area developer/landlord where he was responsible for the successful construction, management and leasing of suburban office properties. His experience on the landlord’s side of the lease-negotiating table has made him a valuable asset to his clients in tenant representation work. Before entering the real estate business, Mr. Titzer designed mechanical systems for high-rise office buildings, including several Chicago skyscrapers, at Skidmore Owings and Merrill.
