Roger L. Knigge is a senior vice president in the Corporate Real Estate Services Division, bringing over 30 years of commercial real estate experience to his position. During his career, Mr. Knigge has emphasized representation of both tenants and landlords in lease procurement and negotiation. He has also been active in the sale of all types of commercial real estate.
Mr. Knigge is a recognized expert in the field of office, retail and industrial leasing and the positioning of properties in the market to maximize occupancy at optimum rents. He has also represented both small and large tenants in their search for space and has been involved in the sale of commercial real estate properties with a combined value in excess of $100 million.
During his career, Mr. Knigge has represented such companies as Manulife Insurance, Crown Life Insurance, Julio Bogoricin Real Estate (Brazil), the Art Institute of Chicago, Helix Camera, Giordiano’s, Lutheran General Hospital, Loews Corporation, CNA Insurance, and The Illinois Central Gulf Railroad.
Prior to joining HSA, Mr. Knigge was a principal in Real Estate Consultants, Inc., a company that he co-founded in 1977. He has also been a manager of real estate for CNA Insurance Company, where he managed and leased more than 4 million square feet of commercial property.
Mr. Knigge is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) with the Institute of Real Estate Management, a member of the National Association of Realtors and a licensed insurance producer.
