Mark H. TeGrootenhuis is a Senior Vice President with the Development Division of HSA Commercial Real Estate. His responsibilities include involvement in development consulting assignments and the coordination of industrial and retail development projects.
Mr. TeGrootenhuis is a 23 year veteran of the real estate construction industry with experience on a multitude of commercial, industrial and medical building construction projects for Turner Construction. He has served as Project Manager for numerous building projects in the greater Chicago metropolitan area, including: the 1998 Democratic National Convention at the United Center in Chicago; the University of Illinois’ Outpatient Care Center; program management of over 40 schools for the Public Building Commission of Chicago; preconstruction services for numerous clients including Weyerhaeuser, U.S. Robotics, and the John Hancock Center; and project executive/manager of the DuPage Special Projects Division.
Over the past five years, Mr. TeGrootenhuis has managed completion of several HSA development projects, including O’Hare East Business Center, a 325,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Franklin Park, a 382,000 square foot industrial building in Aurora, a 395,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in North Chicago, two 82,000 square foot industrial buildings in Woodridge and the redevelopment of the Orland Park Place Mall in Orland Park.
